Olivia Poole invented the Jolly Jumper for her children in 1910.
Drawing on her own traditional Indigenous knowledge, Olivia Poole invented the Jolly Jumper for her children in 1910. Encouraged by her family, Poole became one of the first Indigenous women in Canada to patent an invention.
